Responsibilities:
  • A newly created role, in charge of analyzing financial performance and identifying opportunities and implementing viable action plans and solutions to improve the financial performance of the Company
  • Establish accounting principles and provide continual reports on balance, cash flow, profit & loss and other related issues to the head office in the United Kingdom
  • Responsible for a number of financial analysis related responsibilities that are crucial to our client’s local and regional operations. This will involve leading all non-product investments and their related costing and ensuring budget controls are implemented to support operations
  • Lead all cost reduction initiatives, develop forecasts and business plans and monitor their effectiveness. The successful candidate will also be “key” in allocating expenses to internal procurement departments and monitoring all related agreements to ensure accuracy and best practice principles.
  • Establish and maintain a cost accounting system, performing cost analysis, maintaining control cost accounting records and taking responsibility for inventory, production cost forecasts, non-production costs, and other relevant costing responsibilities.
  • Key contact for external stakeholders (esp. tax authorities, chartered accountants and tax advisors)
  • Participate in establishing an annual budget for the company. Leading the companies budgeting process whilst preparing the monthly/quarterly accounting (P/L and Balance sheet).  
  • Preparing and communication of VAT declaration
  • Preparation and issuance of all relevant statistical information as required by local law. 
Qualifications:
  • Thai nationality, preferably in mid 30s and above
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or MA/MBA 
  • At least 8 years of experience in overall accounting & finance management and cost analysis/control, including financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting
  • Ability to work on your own as it's a new position
  • Good leadership and people coordination/management skills
  • Good command of English required in order to communicate with the MD in UK  
  • Willing to travel to Pakchong on a weekly basis
