Established  over 10 years, our client is one of Thailand's leading machine manufacturers used in the various business sectors i.e. HORECA, hospitality, schools, modern trade, manufacturing and trading companies.  Due to continual business expansion, the company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the management team.  In this business-critical role, the successful candidate will be based at a factory in Chomthong. 

Responsibilities:​
  • Managing the overall operations of the assembly plant, including production activities, quality control, procurement, logistics, warehouse and inventory management (FG, components and imported machines)
  • Managing a team of around 20 people
  • Dealing with both local and overseas suppliers for parts and imported machines
  • Being in charge of quality control of imported machines (machine testing) and claims
  • Handling repairs/refurbishment of returned machines
  • Managing logistics and machine installation      
​​Qualifications:
  • Thai nationality only
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.) or any related field, a higher degree would be a plus  
  • 15 years of experience, with some years at a managerial level in the manufacturing environment
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Has a 'can do' attitude, team-oriented with the ability to make decisions
  • Willing to work 6 days a week
  • Ability to communicate in English
