Sourcing / Purchasing Engineers (60K-75K)

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible of the purchasing of equipment, machinery, maintenance parts, raw materials and/or all other supplies required and necessary to the running of our business and in line with MRP (material requirement planning) or demand schedules;
- Be responsible of the whole procurement process: find sources and select suppliers, negotiate prices, and recommend purchases, to obtain the best possible prices while adhering to quality specifications, service demands and supplier innovation opportunity;
- Be responsible of all CAPEX
- Follow up orders, verify availability and delivery dates. Prioritize, schedule and expedite delivery of materials to meet target dates, prevent excessive inventory and avoid stock shortages;
- Work with product development, technical operations, and manufacturing to source new or improved raw materials;
- Issue P/O (Purchase Order) to suppliers and confirm the delivery date to requestors;
- Be in charge of customs clearance and billing process;
- Manage the coordination between the purchasing team and the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely payments with suppliers;
- Have a good understanding of the SG principles and rules in terms of procurement (business control, conflict of interest, compliance, etc.);
- Other tasks/projects as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
- Thai nationality, aged over 28 years old
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, etc.), higher degree would be an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in new model development, supply control and development, purchasing and cost reduction project management
- Ability to work under pressure
- A good team player with a make it happen attitude
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, planning, organization and communication skills
- Can use Microsoft office and familiar with ERP and project management system
- Ability to communicate in English both written and spoken
